Oswaldo Vigas' works will be exhibited in Bogotá
    RCN Radio
    Bogota, Colombia. July, 2015

Potent, precursor, polemical, strong and vibrant, this is the exhibition of works by the Venezuelan master Oswaldo Vigas reaching the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art.

Curated by Bélgica Rodriguez, the exhibition represents an outstanding selection of the master's work since its inception until 2013 and it will be inaugurated on July 16.

Vigas is one of the most recognized Venezuelan plastic artists in Latin America. He is considered a pioneer of Latin American art, and he is also full of pre-Hispanic art like Obregón, Szyszlo, Matta, Tamayo, Lam, and Guayasamín.

Conceived between France and Venezuela, his work is an original summary of the cultural roots of Latin America and the latest artistic currents of modernity.
